Pea Pod Baby Sweater.

Pea Pod Baby Sweater.

It's finished. The details at the end were much more trouble than the actual knitting! This was my first time sewing in sleeves. They're not great, but they'll do. There aren't any gaping holes anywhere or anything.

I'm happy with the buttons and the lace section. I think they came out pretty well. And I love how soft the whole thing is. And the mom should appreciate that it's machine washable.

Details:

Pattern: Pea Pod Baby Sweater by Kate Gilbert, available for free (I think) from Interweave Knits.

Yarn: KnitPicks Shine Sport in hydrangea.

Needles: Size 5 Harmony circs.

This is the 12 month size and I made absolutely no modifications to the pattern. I hope it fits the baby eventually.
